Athlete Selection Process

Fluminense is prepared to assist anyone interested in our weekly selection process and evaluation of athletes.

This process is conducted on the grounds of the CTVL every Monday to assist any boy realize the dream of entering the football´s world.

For more information about the athlete selection process and evaluation within Fluminense youth divisions, please contact Gabriela or Leonardo at (21) 2679-4040. The doors of Fluminense are always open to future football stars.



Amistosos (“Friendly Tournaments”)

Fluminense hosts teams and small schools participating in amistosos (“friendly tournaments”) on a weekly basis at CTVL facilities. These activities are an important part of the development process of the club’s respective youth divisions.

In the event you are interested in scheduling a friendly tournament at CTVL with Fluminense teams, please contact the Xerém Coordinators Bruno Costa (Manager), André Medeiros (Coordinator) or Antônio Garcia (Supervisor) at (21) 2679-4040.

We are also interested in participating in friendly tournaments outside of CTVL. Fluminense requires that team transportation, meals and housing be made available by interested parties if necessary.


Competitions

Time campeão nos Emirados Árabes

Participation in national and international competitions is considered a key component in the development of Fluminense youth divisions.

Meeting and competing against different schools and their respective training methods offers new experiences for the athletes and professionals who work with the youth divisions. Instilling a competitive and winning spirit is an important objective for Tricolor member teams.

Invitations for our members to participate in tournaments are always welcome and may be forwarded to the CTVL c/o Bruno Costa, Fluminense youth division manager.

With daily physical, technical and tactical training, Tricolor athletes are prepared for the demanding routine of games and competitions experienced by professional athletes. Our training is divided into five categories: Junior (Under–20), Juvenile (Under–17), Infant (Under–15), Mirim (Under–13) and Pre-Mirim (Under–11).
